Amy's Vegan Pizza, Margherita with Daiya Cheese
Plant based. Hand-stretched wheat crust. At Amy's, all of our wheat flour pizzas are made by hand. That's not something you typically see in a kitchen as big as ours, but we believe that when food is made with love, it simply tastes better. To make this pizza, we start with dough made from organic wheat flour and extra virgin olive oil. After the dough rises, it's stretched by hand so that the crust is perfectly thin, light and tender. Next, we add our very own tomato sauce, made from organic tomatoes and simmered with fragrant basil until perfect. Then each pizza is topped by hand with organic shredded, vegan, mozzarella-style cheeze. It stretches, melts and tastes just like the real thing. The simple, crisp flavors of this classic pizza are hard to beat. Family owned since 1987. After the birth of our daughter Amy in 1987, we found there was little time to prepare the quality homemade food we normally ate. Realizing there were others like ourselves, we set up Amy’s Kitchen to prepare delicious meals for those who care about the food they eat but are often too busy to cook. We use only the finest ingredients and prepare them with the same careful attention in our kitchen as you would in your owm home. No meat, fish, shellfish, poultry, eggs or peanuts are ever used in any Amy’’s products.
