By Jacqueline Gomes, RD, MBA
When the temperatures climb, most of us start craving lighter, fresher meals—and the last thing we want is to feel weighed down. That’s where simple, no-fuss recipes come in, like my Low-Carb Burger Bowls.
These bowls pack all the flavor of your favorite burger—seasoned ground beef, crunchy lettuce, juicy tomatoes, crisp pickles, and a drizzle of creamy sauce—without the bun. It’s a low-carb twist that’s perfect for warm-weather dinners or easy weekend lunches.
What makes this dish a summer favorite? It’s quick to prep, full of fresh ingredients, and doesn’t require turning on the oven. You’ll stay cool and satisfied, while still enjoying a high-protein, flavorful meal.
Serve it with sweet potato wedges or enjoy it solo—it’s the kind of flexible recipe you’ll keep coming back to all season long.
