Summer is a great time to enjoy the bounty of produce it brings. Fresh fruits and vegetables provide a nutritious and sweet boost of satisfying energy. Turn your summer salad into a hearty meal with these tips:

  • Start with Green Way Organic Salads as your base and add in sweetness such as grilled peaches, cut up watermelon or berries.
  • Add satisfying crunch with cauliflower, snap peas, and whole grain crackers.
  • Don’t forget the protein! Green Way Shrimp, chicken, beans or eggs are lean sources of protein that will keep you energized.
  • Summer fruits include peaches, watermelon, blueberries, cantaloupe and so much more!
  • Peaches can be grilled, sautéed, baked or enjoyed fresh.
  • Peaches are high in fiber and contain beneficial antioxidants, which can help protect your body from aging and disease.
